A momentous occasion - Maya spotted her *very first* lizard COMPLETELY unaided (inside the shower stall), alerted her parents (liz-ah, liz-ah!!!), and helped capture it. Way to go, Maya - an Eremiascincus!

These photos are amazing!!!! What great pictures for Maya to have when she's older! She has the most badass parents ever! Looks like so much fun, scary spiders notwithstanding.
